School Program

Each summer letters are sent out to superintendents, principals, and 5th grade teachers of Columbia County schools, inviting them to take part in our school outreach program.

Over the years thousands of students have participated in this worthwhile program. Our goal has been to provide future generations with sound advice, so they can make informed decisions and be proactive when it comes to public safety.

During the hour long training session, children receive instruction on how they can protect themselves from the adverse affects of various emergencies. They are also taught how to properly access help via the 911 system.

We would like to thank the 5th grade classes who participate in this worthwhile program.
